*There is a passage in the book “The Moon in All Things”* that stopped me in my tracks this week. It whispers truths about embodiment, destiny, and the way we move through the world.
*Warning: Very minor spoilers ahead. If you want to read the book with no information about it at all, save this until you have finished it.*
Not move through the world in the poetic sense, but literally move, step by intentional step, as if the ground itself is listening.
Here are the lines that grabbed me:
“You have been recognized in the spirit world, Morrigan Lane. Stand up. Take notice. Honor them in the way you walk and present yourself.”
And later:
“Morrigan sensed her calling ... was not as literal as she once believed. It involved a way of walking through the world, with a focus on making whole the broken cords of connection. Perhaps her village could expand beyond its actual boundaries and could include anyone, anywhere.”
There is deep wisdom here...
Quiet, grounded wisdom that changes how you stand, how you breathe, how you enter a room.

This moment in the story is not about flattery. It is about responsibility. When you are recognized by the unseen realms, you must recognize yourself too.
This means:
You choose to carry yourself with intentional presence, confidence and power.
You treat your posture and your life as a form of prayer.
You walk as if your ancestors and guides are nodding in approval.
You realise that your constant self-doubt dishonours that respect.
Spiritual recognition is not an award. It is an invitation to show up differently.
Your body becomes the first altar where your calling is expressed. Before you speak, before you teach, before you offer healing, there is the way you stand in your own skin.
“She stood straight, thrust out her chest, pulled back her shoulders, and began to walk. She did not swagger. She did not march. She placed each foot with measured intention, feeling its impact upon the earth. And in recognition of her actions, deep within the wildwood, The Invisibles danced.”
This is so subtle but powerful.
She is not performing confidence.
She is not forcing anything.
She is embodying recognition.
This is the difference between ego and sovereignty.
Swagger says look at me.
Sovereignty says I am already seen. I mean, how fucking powerful is that?
Marching says I am pushing forward.
Sovereignty says I am walking in alignment.
Her steps become a ceremony. Each footfall is a spell spoken to the land. And the land, in turn, responds. The Invisibles dance. The Otherworld celebrates. The unseen mirrors the seen.
This is embodiment as communication.
The second passage reveals a deeper shift.
Morrigan discovers that healing the village is not about patching wounds or solving everyone’s issues. Her real work is to mend the broken threads of connection simply by how she moves through the world.
This for me is the turning point from healer to priestess.
Healing becomes:
A presence, not a task.
A way of witnessing, not a set of techniques.
A vibration, not a strategy.
And this sentence holds the heart of it:
“Perhaps her village could expand beyond its actual boundaries and could include anyone, anywhere.”
Your village is not your clients. Not your neighborhood. Not even your immediate circle.
Your village is everyone whose life your energy touches.
The way you walk through a grocery store.
The way you breathe before answering a difficult email.
The way you center yourself before speaking truth.
The way you choose compassion when you could choose cynicism.
These tiny moments are healing acts.
If you are here reading this, chances are you are walking your own path of awakening and connection.
Maybe you already sense that your life is bigger than the lines you were handed. Maybe you feel the tug of something sacred underneath your ordinary days.
So here is the invitation for us:
Walk as if you are already recognised.
Because you are.
Your guides know you.
Your destiny knows you.
Your future self knows you.
You are not waiting for permission.
Walk as if your mere presence heals.
Because it does.
Every time you choose alignment, the world shifts a little.
Every time you soften, someone else feels safer.
Every time you embody your truth, a thread in the collective web mends itself.
Walk as if your “village” is the world.
Because your impact is not local.
Your energy travels.
Your compassion ripples.
Your alignment expands.
This is not metaphor. This is frequency.
This is reality creation in motion.
Here is a short practice you can do any morning or before any meaningful moment. Use it to call yourself back into sovereignty. (I definitely will be doing this).
1. Stand grounded.
Feel your weight.
Feel your presence.
2. Breathe into your heart and say
“I am recognised. I recognise myself.”
3. Roll your shoulders back and soften your face.
Let your chest lift just a little.
Let your spine lengthen.
4. Take one slow intentional step.
Feel the earth respond.
Feel your energy settle into place.
5. Whisper: “I walk as a healer. My presence mends what is frayed.”
Carry that with you into the world, into your day.
This is a way of walking that wakes the unseen.
This is a way of walking that reminds the land who you are.
This is a way of walking that tells your destiny you are ready.
When you walk with intention, the Invisibles dance.
May they dance behind your steps this week.
